When Tammy first checked into the Ohio rehab, she weighed in at over 700 pounds, but with a lot of determination and hard work, she hit her goal weight of 550 pounds and was approved to undergo bariatric surgery.
One year later, Tammy’s success continues, and she proudly announces that she is down in clothing size from an eight XL to a two XL. It has not been an easy task, but the reality television personality says she is a much happier person since dropping the weight.
Fans have watched Tammy Slaton and her sister Amy Slaton’s weight loss journey on the hit TLC series “1000-Lb Sisters” for the past four seasons. The siblings recently finished filming Season 4 Part B, which will air later this year. It has not been the easiest of years for the Slaton sisters. There has been a lot of family drama going on.

Tammy’s wedding to her rehab soulmate, Caleb Willingham, ended on a sour note. Tammy stated that she couldn’t stay married because Caleb refused to stick with his diet and health regime.
Following their split, Caleb unfortunately passed away just seven months following their wedding. Season 4 Part A of “1000-Lb Sisters” documented Caleb and Tammy’s whirlwind romance and marriage. Is Tammy Leaving Reality TV
Tammy Slaton admits that at this time, her future with TLC and the “1000-Lb Sisters” reality series is up in the air. According to The Sun, sources close to the production crew say that Season 4 could be the last.
However, according to Tammy, she has been thinking a lot about her future and moving away from reality television. Should she decide to leave reality television, the Slaton informant says she is thinking about a career in modeling.
She’s been searching for modeling jobs and trying to grow her social media platform. The source said: “Well, I can’t say if there is or is not going to be another season, but Tammy is looking at other opportunities.”
