Barbara Walters health continues to decline.

Barbara Walters reportedly has come to terms with her failing health and is now planning her own funeral and saying goodbye to her closest friends and family members according to Radar Online.

Barbara Walters has been in declining health for several years now which has forced the legendary reporter to miss out on special events honoring her. Earlier this year Blasting Pop reported that Barbara Walters was content to spend her days alone at her home in her ritzy New York City apartment building.

According to the former “View” star’s doorman, she has been refusing visitors for the past several months. BP stated that Barbara once an avid traveler and socialite now prefers isolation, and spends her days alternating between her bed and wheelchair feeling too frail and weak to see her friends.

However, it is alleged that things have changed a bit for Walters. A source close to Barbara claims that Babs is now very involved in planning every last detail of her funeral.

“Barbara is a total control freak so it should be no surprise that she’s producing her funeral,” a source said. “She got the idea to call it her ‘Exit Plan’ from her late friend, writer Nora Ephron. Every single detail has been spelled out — from the flowers to the venue to the guests and even who she wants to sing.”

The informant also claims that Barbara is also now taking visitors, something that she reportedly hasn’t done in several months to say her goodbyes.

“Friends have been going to see her because it could be the last time,” said one source.

Walters — who created and co-hosted The View until she retired in 2014 — has not been seen in public since July 2016. Over the past couple of years reports of Barbara Walters’ declining health issues have revealed the popular journalist suffers from heart issues, dementia and a broken hip along with the natural aches and pains that comes with being at an advanced age.

We wish Barbara Walters the best and hope that she has peace and comfort throughout her remaining days on earth.
