Britney Spears has a lot on her mind these days, so much that she is having a hard time remembering what city she is performing at. Britney brought the house down during last weekend’s concert despite one crucial error.
According to The Blast Britney Spears suffered a major brain freeze on stage and had to ask someone from her back up crew where they were at during Brighton Pride tour stop.
However, Britney has been dealing with a lot these days. Not only is she on tour, and spending time with her two sons, Jayden and Sean she is also engaged in a nasty child support battle with ex-Kevin Federline.
As reported by Blasting News K-Fed is demanding an increase in Britney Spears’ monthly child support payments each month. Federline claims that he just can not support the former couple’s two sons in the way they are accustomed to at Brit’s house on only $20,000 a month.
K-Fed claims that all he is able to provide the kids with are the bare essentials on his measly $3,000 a month. He believes it is unfair that when the boys are with Britney that they have everything their heart’s desire and take lavish vacations.
“I work as a DJ. My income this year is approximately $3,000 per month, which I earn by traveling to various entertainment venues around the country and providing musical entertainment. My income has changed significantly since the child support was last modified in approximately 2008 because I no longer earn a six-figure income like I did in 2008. I am no longer able to perform as a dancer due to my age, and I have not been as successful in putting out new music as I was in 2008. I am simply less of a “name” and less in demand than I was in 2008, which has negatively affected my income.”
Federline is reportedly asking for $60,000 a month in child support stating that on Britney’s income that that is a mere drop in the bucket for the singer to see that her boys are well taken care of.
According to CeleBuzz, Britney Spears financial documents reveal the singer’s assets at the beginning of 2018 to be $56,562,912.38. The court docs also reveal Spears’ spendings stating that she spent a huge amount of cash just to fix her mansion’s elevator. It also claimed that she paid her bodyguard a yearly salary of $150,000 with a $3,000 Christmas bonus.
Attorneys’ fees added up to $570,000 for their services in 2017. However, with all of her money, Britney appears to be a conservative shopper,
frequenting value store including Target, and Dicks Sporting Goods.
Spears’ claims that she is confused as to why K-Fed needs so much more money from her to take care of the boys when not only is she paying him $20,000 a month, she literally pays for all the boy’s needs including tuition, extracurriculars and more.
It sounds as far as Britney and her team are concerned that Kevin wants more money to help cover the expense he has as a father to four other children plus the two he shares with Spears and that is just not cutting it with Britney.
It looks like this one is going to be a long drawn out battle that will eventually be settled in court, in the meantime Brit’s fans feel that it is time for K-Fed to look for another job, one that perhaps covers his living expenses.
