Maci Bookout is not real thrilled with how MTV hired new cast member Bristol Palin without as much as even discussing it with all the “Teen Mom OG” cast.
Radar Online reports that Maci Bookout stated that none of the OG moms, Amber Portwood, Caitlynn Lowell, or herself was “called.” However, Maci did state that “Anybody is better than Farrah Abraham.”
As previously reported, Farrah Abraham has been keeping busy since her termination from “Teen Mom OG” in the past few weeks her family dog died, she made an appearance at Comic Con where she charged fans $10 just to shake her hand, and has recently been training for a November Celebrity Boxing match in Atlantic City.
Maci Bookout’s response on Bristol joining the cast clearly reveals she is not happy about the MTV handled the matter. Maci recently spoke out during a podcast interview with “Teen Mom 2” star Kailyn Lowry telling her that they were just told after it was all said and done that this is “how it is going to be.”
Bookout claims she has no problem with Bristol joining the popular reality series, but, since she, Amber and Caitlynn have all been there 10-years now, she felt that maybe a courtesy heads up on the matter would have been nice.
One thing that Maci Bookout did not mince words on was the fact that anyone MTV could have hired “would be better than Farrah Abraham” who was fired from the “Teen Mom OG” reality series earlier this year.
One thing Maci also mentioned, and fans have also spoken out on since Bristol Palin announced she had signed on, was that with Bristol, and Cheyenne now part of the cast it was not all about the “Original Teen Mom” girls now that perhaps a series title change may be in order.
Bookout also touched on her ex- and son Bentley’s dad Ryan Edwards recent arrest and termination from the show. Edwards was arrested on July 23rd for breaking probation from a past heroin arrest.
When asked about Ryan Edwards‘ sobriety Maci reveals she has no idea because she never has contact with Ryan due to their Spring restraining orders that stated he was not allowed to contact or be around her or her family.
