Reese Witherspoon reportedly took a nasty tumble while making her exit on Saturday night from Jennifer Aniston’s 50th birthday party according to Radar Online reports.
Reese Witherspoon was described by Radar as bleary-eyed and red-faced. It seems Reese grabbed onto the glass handrail while going don the steps at the Sunset Tower hotel, but the railing was not enough support to keep Reese from stumbling and losing her balance.
The “Little Big Lies” star was helped up by a hotel employee and walked to her chauffeur driven car. Was it a case of one too many for Reese, or did the star just have a case of the clumsies in her black high heels?
There have been previous reports about Witherspoon and her drinking over the years. Her most embarrassing moment, in 2013 when she and Jim Toth were both arrested in Atlanta, Georgia.
Toth was arrested for DUI and Reese for disorderly conduct. Reese was handcuffed after repeatedly ignoring Atlanta police offers orders to stay inside the car.
Despite her attempt to play the celebrity card, Reese and Toth were both hauled into the police station and charged. Witherspoon made a public apology following her arrest stating that she was very embarrassed by her behavior and had partaken in one drink “too many.” Reese also stated that her alcohol consumption was no excuse for her behavior and that she was very sorry.
However, a year later it was rumored that Jim Toth was very concerned over Reese’s drinking problem. The Hollywood agent reportedly told Reese to sober up for the good of her career. Reese’s career appears to be unaffected by her “alleged drinking” reports and she will be starring along with Jennifer Aniston in the upcoming Apple series “Top of The Morning.”
