Former Teen Mom OG star Ryan Edwards’ wife Mackenzie Standifer Edwards has opened up about Ryan’s recent arrest and how it has affected their lives. According to Radar Online Mackenzie claims that she and Ryan Edwards are Not getting a divorce. Despite Ryan’s arrests, drug issues and rehab stints Mackenzie claims she is standing by her man.
As previously reported, Edwards was arrested in January on heroin and theft charges and will remain in jail until his court date scheduled on April 15.
Mackenzie spoke out about her life with Ryan on Instagram Live revealing that Ryan was arrested on simple possession of heroin. It has been one long and hard road for Ryan and Mackenzie.
Things began to escalate out control for the couple just before their wedding day. Ryan’s drug addiction took a major spiral for Maci Bookout’s ex and father to son Bentley. Numerous arrests, trips to rehab and the loss of their jobs on the MTV reality show “Teen Mom OG” are just a small few of the problems Mackenzie and Ryan have had to deal with. Despite it, all Mack remains a devoted wife and friend to Ryan.
The couple welcomed the arrival of their first son, Jagger, together back in October, Mack claims that Jagger is 100 percent a daddy’s boy and has even praised Ryan for his fatherly bond with their son.
When asked if they are planning to have more children together, Mackenzie quickly replied no, she is done. She has one son from a previous relationship, and Ryan has Bentley so together that makes three sons and she feels that is plenty.
As for what the future holds for The Edwards’ family? At this time it is hard to tell, they are taking one day and one problem at a time and dealing with them as they come. But, Mackenzie Standifer remains adamant that her life with Ryan Edwards will eventually turn out happily ever after. Do you agree?
