Kevin Hart has been hospitalized with serious injuries following a horrific car crash that took place around on Mullholland Highway in Malibu Hills 1:45 a.m. on Sunday.
According to Radar Online, The California Highway Patrol report lists Kevin Hart as a passenger in the crash. The car was being driven by Jared S. Black and there was one other passenger– Hart and his wife Eniko Parrish‘s personal trainer Rebecca Broxterman, 31.
The report states that Black was driving Hart’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, “turned from southbound Cold Canyon Road to eastbound Mullholland Highway. Black lost control of the car causing the vehicle to swerve off-road, rolling down the northern embankment.”
The report continued, “Two of the three occupants were trapped in the vehicle. The remaining occupant and owner of the vehicle, Kevin Hart, left the scene to his nearby residence to get medical attention.
Both Kevin Hart and Black sustained serious back injuries. TMZ and Radar have conflicting reports as to Kevin Hart’s treatment. TMZ states Kevin was first out of the vehicle with a witness claiming, a member of his security team showed up in an SUV and picked him up.
Kevin lives nearby and cops say he went home “to get medical attention.” while Radar states the actor was transported to Northridge Hospital.
Photos from TMZ reveal the roof of the car completely crushed. Luckily all escaped what appears could have been a horrific fatal accident for all involved. The driver was also transported to a nearby hospital for back injury treatment.
Coincidentally, this past Saturday Kevin Hart had posted a video of himself in the 1970 vehicle. Kevin had just purchased the car in July as a 40th birthday gift to himself. Medical updates on Hart’s condition will be updated as released. We wish Kevin a full and speedy recovery.
