Britney Spears and ex-Kevin Federline’s custody agreement has undergone a huge change according to TMZ. The previous 50-50 custodial agreement has now been officially changed to 70-30 with Federline retaining custody 70 percent of the time.
The custody agreement change has been going on since August of last year as a trial run, however, the former couple decided to make it official after agreeing that things have been working out for the best.
As previously reported, Britney has been struggling quite a bit with her mental health issues. In May it was reported that Spears was having problems with regulating her medication and checked into the facility to rest and give doctors a chance to find the right combination of drugs.
With the new custody arrangement, Britney will spend 30 percent will her sons Sean, 13 and Jayden ,12 will be unsupervised. Britney Spears and K-Fed have also battled child support issues in the past with Kevin revealing he needed more cash to keep the boys living in the style that they were accustomed with Britney.
It was not revealed as to whether or not Spears’ financial support payments was increased for the boys care. But, we have to imagine, more custodial time for K-Fed also means more money for their care.
Britney Spears has been remaining rather low-key as she works on getting herself back in control. Her music career also remains on hold for the time being. The singer was last seen out to dinner with boyfriend Sam Asghari during a dinner date in West Hollywood on August 25th at the Italian restaurant Cecconi’s.
Britney Spears was spotted at the time with a new brunette hair color wearing a casual outfit, with a white, midriff-baring shirt and tight jeans. She also wore sunglasses to help hide her identity.
