Reality television star Kate Gosselin’s 2020 is starting off really bad. According to Radar Online Kate Gosselin has been fired!
Kate Gosselin’s contract with TLC has been terminated! According To Radar, Kate made the statement in court on December 19. The outlet claims that Kate was found guilty of contempt for allowing four of her and ex-husband Jon Gosselin‘s 15-year-old children to film the reality series without first obtaining the proper paperwork.
Kate Gosselin’s bank account takes a direct hit
Sextuplets— Alexis, Aaden, Joel and Leah all filmed on the “Kate Plus 8 special back in October despite Kate being ordered by a judge to get not only the proper paperwork but Jon Gosselin’s permission first.
As previously reported by Blasting News Jon was ‘furious’ that Kate went behind his back and broke the court order. Kate was found in contempt of court and ordered to pay Jon $1500 in legal fees, plus an additional $25,000 in legal fees stemming from another filming dispute by December 31.
Reality television fans are well aware that since Jon and Kate Gosselin’s divorce things between them have been extremely nasty. Jon has stated numerous times he is not interested in ever doing reality television again. He reveals he works a regular job just like everyone else.
What’s next for Kate Gosselin?
As for how this will affect Kate Gosselin’s bank account, we have to believe it will not be good. That is unless Kate finds another network willing to work with her. However, one thing Kate does have to fall back on, a nursing degree.
We have to imagine it may be quite difficult to obtain her current lifestyle she has grown accustomed to on a nurse’s salary. That and supporting eight children.
At this time Kate Gosselin has not commented on her contract termination with TLC, but we’re sure Kate Gosselin is most likely getting her back up plans in order as we speak.
