Depp confirms engagement to Heard
Johnny Depp has confirmed he is engaged and is sporting his own engagement ring to prove he is off the market.
When asked about the past rumors of his engagement to girlfriend Amber Heard, Johnny Depp stated,
“The fact that I’m wearing a chick’s ring on my finger is probably a dead giveaway. Not very subtle, he stated as he showed of a single diamond band on his left ring finger.
Johnny Depp talks new film ‘Transcedence’
Depp, 50, was recently in Beijing to promote his new movie “Transcendence.”
Johnny’s latest role finds the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star playing a terminally ill scientist who downloads his mind into a computer in the sci-fi drama that asks:
Depp co-stars along side Rebecca Hall, who plays as Depp’s wife and Morgan Freeman.
Fans can look for”Transcendence” to debut in theaters on April 18, the same day the film will debut in China.
China is the only country currently where “Transcendence” will be showing in 3-D — a format popular with Chinese audiences.
Johnny Depp first gained a huge fan base starring on the 1980 television drama “21 Jump Street<” sending him immediately into teen idol status.
Growing bred with being only recognized as a teen idol, Johnny Depp soon branched out to more challenging roles including film hits such as Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow,the Pirates of the Caribbean film series and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to name a few.
