Jagger and Stones to resume world tour in May
The Rolling Stones tour is set to resume following the tragedy of the death of frontman Mick Jagger’s longtime girlfriend L’Wren Scott.
The Rolling Stones postpone shows in the wake of Scott’s tragic suicide on March 17.
The band postponed seven tour dates in Australia and New Zealand after Scott was found dead in her NYC apartment from an apparent suicide.

The Rolling Stones’ singer Mick Jagger had been dating the late fashion designer since 2001, and was shocked to hear of her tragic and sudden passing.
Jagger released a touching statement calling her “my lover and best friend” and adding, “I will never forget her.”
A private funeral service was held for Scott last week in Los Angeles.
The Rolling Stones announced late Monday that they will be resuming their “14 on Fire” tour at the Telenor Arena in Oslo on May 26.
The band is currently on their European leg of the tour.
The tour will include 14 shows in just over five weeks. Most of the shows had been announced before the Australian shows were postponed, but some new dates have been added, including one outside Europe, in Tel Aviv on June 4.
The Rolling Stones will also be playing several festivals from May through July 1 that include Rock in Rio, in Lisbon, the Pinkpop Festival, in Landgraaf, the Netherlands, the TW Classic Festival in Werchter, Belgium, and the Roskilde Festival, in Denmark.
