Tim McGraw can’t seem to catch a break. This week he’s taking heat for “slapping” a female fan who put her hands all over him during a concert in Atlanta.

Tim McGraw taking heat for slapping female fan

Tim was on stage singing his encore of “Truck Yeah” and interacting with the crowd when a two fans grabbed him. One held on to his leg, and the other grabbed a not so appropriate part of his body.

Tim McGraw then hit the fan trying to get her off of him, and security immediately grabbed the woman and escorted her out of the concert.

The woman succeeded in ripping McGraw’s jeans, and Tim was none too happy about it.

McGraw’s rep speaks out

“At the end of the night during the encore, Tim was singing out in the audience and someone firmly grabbed onto his leg and wouldn’t let go as he was moving through the crowd… He instinctively swatted to try to keep them from ripping his jeans (which they succeeded at doing!), and so he could get to more fans who could slap hands with him before the end of the show,” Tim McGraw’s rep stated about the incident.

“He didn’t know who had grabbed him and was simply trying to keep his jeans from being torn,” the rep added.

This isn’t the first time Tim’s been groped on stage

Of course this isn’t the first time that Tim McGraw has been felt up by an over excited fan. Back in 2007 Tim was on stage with his wife, Faith Hill, when a fan grabbed his crotch, and Faith stopped the song to slam the woman. “Somebody needs to teach you some class my friend,” she told the fan. “You don’t go grabbing somebody’s husband’s balls. You understand?” she added. Apparently, not all of Tim’s fans got the memo.
