The former “19 Kids and Counting” star has checked in to a treatment facility following two shocking scandals including news that he molested underage girls, some of whom were his sisters as a teenager, and the latest that he has two accounts on the online cheating website Ashley Madison.
Josh Duggar Rehab: ’19 Kids and Counting’ Star Enters Treatment
Josh Duggar’s rehab stint isn’t shocking, but may be necessary if he truly has a sex addiction. TMZ reports that the Duggar family confirmed Josh entered a “long-term treatment center,” but did not reveal what kind of treatment he would be receiving.
Josh’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar released a statement after his Ashley Madison scandal saying, “His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others. He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear.”
Anna Duggar Also Seeking Treatment
They added Josh’s wife, Anna Duggar, is also getting counseling for her “heart and future,” and that they are praying for their son and hope he comes to “complete repentance and sincere change.”
