Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are getting a divorce, for real this time! The actress filed divorce papers on Monday citing irreconcilable differences.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt To Divorce — Confirmed!
According to TMZ, Angelina Jolie decided to file for divorce from Brad Pitt after becoming increasingly upset with his parenting methods. The couple, who have six children together, three adopted and three biological, have yet to release a statement on the end of their marriage.
Brad and Angelina married in August of 2014 after dating for 10 years. The pair first met on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” where they allegedly fell in love although Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston. The divorce was huge news, and is still dredged up in the media to this day. Unfortunately for Aniston, who is currently married to Justin Theoroux, her name will likely come up in the “Brangelina” divorce drama as well.
Brad’s Parenting Methods Caused Divorce Filing
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce comes as a huge shock to many fans, even though divorce rumors have been running wild for years. The couple who seemed perfectly suited for each other just couldn’t seem to make it work. Fans are not expecting tons of rumors and speculation on exactly what parenting methods Brad used that Angelina just couldn’t deal with.
Jolie is asking for full physical custody of all the child with Brad having visitation. Meanwhile she’s not asking for any spousal support, but does want Pitt to have joint legal custody of the kids, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Vivienne, Knox, and Shiloh. Sadly, it is the six children who will probably be hurt the most by the divorce.
