“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” TV revival is well on its way. In fact, two of the biggest characters have already been cast. Victoria Justice of Nickelodeon’s “Victorious” will be playing Janet, and Ryan McCartan from “Heathers: The Musical” will be playing Brad.

According to Deadline, the “Rocky Horror Picture Show” TV adaptation will be a modern day reboot of the 1970’s cult classic film and is following in the footsteps of other movie adaptations for TV such as “The Wiz,” “Grease,” and others.
Victoria Justice will star as Janet Weiss, a role formerly held by actress Susan Sarandon and Ryan McCartan will take over the role of Brad Majors from actor Barry Bostwick.

“Orange Is The New Black” star Laverne Cox has already been cast as Dr. Frank N. Furter, the role made famous by actor Tim Curry. Reeve Carney has been cast as Riff Raff and Staz Nair will play Rocky.
The cast will film “Rocky Horror Picture Show” this winter and it has been scheduled for a fall 2016 release on Fox and run for 2 hours. No doubt the event will be apart of the Halloween TV specials and have fans talking about the original film all over again.
