Game of Thrones Season 7 is only two episodes in, but there have already been a plethora of huge moments. The new season has seen massacres, battles, power shits, and reunions. However, one of the most touching moments that fans may have missed is the letter that Jorah Mormount was writing to his Khaleesi, Daenerys Targaryen when he believed he had only one day to live.

According to Hollywood Life, Jorah was penning a letter to Dany when Samwell Tarley entered his room at the Citadel to try to help cure his greyscale during last week’s episode of Game of Thrones. The letter was only shown for a short moment, but screenshots reveal exactly what the heartfelt note said.

“Khaleesi, I came to the Citadel in the last hope that the maesters could treat me as you ordered. Even with all their arts, I am beyond any cure by the grave. I have had a longer life than I deserved, and I only wish I could’ve lived to see the world you’re going to build, standing by your side. I have loved you since the moment I met you.”

The note was seemingly cut short as Sam entered Jorah’s room to begin the process of curing him. Game of Thrones fans are now hoping that Sam will be able to help Jorah so that he can reunite with Daenerys and help her take the iron throne. Jorah has been a loyal servant to his queen, and he wants nothing more than to see her happy, and would go to the ends of the earth to do so. Their possibly reunion will be one fans are looking forward to if Sam can work some magic on him.
