Amber Portwood reveals she needs to quit the popular MTV reality series Teen Mom OG because it is just “too much to bear anymore” and she is ‘done with the heartache’ according to Radar Online.

“I have to quit this show!” Amber Portwood dropped the bombshell that she is off Teen Mom OG in an epic rant. The reality star confessed that she is done with the MTV show after “heartache” and slamming the people who made money off her pain.

Amber Portwood revealed the shocking announcement on Monday night on her Twitter account while tweeting during the Monday, November 5thairing of Teen Mom OG.

During Portwood’s Twitter rant she revealed that she is not going to allow her “name to be smeared” any longer stating that she hoped everyone who made money from her ‘heartache and pain’ can rest easy. Amber Portwood assured her fans that she would not be disappearing entirely and that she had other things to do which includes ‘helping people’ which is something she has always wanted to do.

Over the years Amber Portwood has opened up about her battles with depression and her off and on unhappiness as a reality television star. As previously in 2017, Portwood released her tell-all autobiography “Never To Late” in which Amber reveals  her struggles with anxiety, depression and addiction to her brutal onscreen fights with her boyfriend, Amber seemed a troubled young woman destined to destroy herself.

Amber’s boyfriend Andrew Glennon recently spoke to OKMagazine.com exclusively about his lady’s plans to help change the world after her time on the reality show. Andrew reportedly told the magazine that “MTV silences her voice, oppresses her story, and manipulates footage to constantly cast her in a bad light.”

“There are bigger and better things for her on the horizon,” Andrew promises. “Stay tuned!” Amber Portwood’s story is far from over, and so far there has not been an official statement from MTV’s Teen Mom OG creators, or Amber Portwood that the official decision has been made. However, Amber Portwood and Andrew Glennon have made it clear that as far as they are concerned the time for change has arrived.

Teen Mom OG airs Mondays (9 p.m. ET) on MTV.
