Bret Michaels’ daughter Raine Michaels completely rocked the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit show during Miami Swim Week. At 18, Raine Michaels appears to be moving fast forward with a successful modeling career according to Wonderwall reports.
Raine Michaels is the oldest of two daughters that the Poison frontman/solo singer and reality television personality shares with longtime on-again-off-again girlfriend Kristi Gibson. Proud poppa Bret Michaels gave a huge shout out on his website last week revealing that Raine was on the shortlist in becoming a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model in SI’s Swim Search. The “Every Rose” hit maker also shared photos from the event on his Instagram account.
Raine Michaels also chimed in on her father’s site posting;
“I realize it takes hard work, gratitude and some luck,” Raine said on her dad’s site, adding, “I truly admire strong women like my mom and grandmas as well as Oprah Winfrey, Kate Upton, Cindy Crawford and Tyra Banks who are amazing role models. All of these women are smart, hard-working and dedicated.”
Raine Michaels has been a busy young woman and much like her rockstar dad is not afraid of hard work. Raine also has a cameo in an upcoming “Sharknado” film, plans to start college this fall. She currently works part-time as a veterinarian assistant at an animal hospital.

Bret Michaels has also stayed extremely busy this summer. As well as touring across the United States Bret is booked on a solo tour that continues to run from July 19-December 26 of this year.
He has also done an amazing job raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundations and through his organization Bret’s Life, Rocks Foundation also works with organizations benefiting veterans, St. Jude Children’s Hospital and many others with instant impact and real results.
Each year, Bret Michaels helps to send children to diabetes summer camp which focuses on learning how to manage diabetes while having fun and developing new friendships. This is a cause that is near and dear to Bret Michaels’ heart. As a life-long diabetic himself, Bret Michaels knows exactly what is like for kids to deal with the disease and any and everything he can do to help these kids out he is all about.
Bret Michaels‘ dedication to his causes is very admirable. Not only does he take them all very seriously, he is a man, who chooses not to only write a check to help, but, takes the time to become hands-on involved in at every turn.
This is one of the many reasons that Bret Michaels success, not only as an awesome singer/songwriter but as a human has sustained more than three decades a characteristic that not many celebrities and entertainers reach anymore.
