Jenelle Evans will continue to shock and annoy “Teen Mom 2” fans for at least one more season. The reality star has officially signed on to film Season 9 of the popular MTV reality series “Teen Mom 2” according to The Ashley.
As previously reported, Jenelle Evans and MTV producers of the “Teen Mom” reality series franchise have been battling it out for the past several months. Evans made her demands, MTV denied her demands, counter offers and a lot of drama went down between the two negotiating parties until now that is.
“OK, fine…I’ll do it.” The Ashley’s sources tell her Jenelle Evans finally gave in signed the Season 9 contract late last week. “Jenelle will likely begin shooting this week. MTV is working out the filming schedule with her right now,” a behind-the-scenes source tells The Ashley. So did Jenelle Evans actually get any of her demands met, or as she recently stated, was she really just locked in legally to the MTV contracts?
Jenelle wanted MTV to give in and allow her husband David Eason back on the show held off signing her Season 9 contract while the parties negotiated. It has been determined that Jenelle Evans’ attorneys and MTV have come to some form of an agreement, however, all the terms of the agreement have not yet been revealed.
The reality blog stated that their sources however have revealed that David Eason will NOT be filmed in the upcoming Season 9.
“They are going to film Jenelle with Barbara [Evans] and do a basic catch-up on what’s been happening in Jenelle’s life since she last filmed,” the source said. “That will be filmed the first couple of days.”

The Ashley can also reveal that they have been informed that surprise “Guest” will be coming to ‘Teen Mom 2’ Season 9. The site also adds that the surprise guest could very well be Jace’s father, Andrew Lewis. Since Jenelle Evans and David Eason’s dramatic life will be limited due to the contract, it is speculated that Jenelle and her mom Barbara Evans story and estrangement will be a huge focus.
Especially since it appears that Babs wants to team up with Kaiser’s dad Nathan Griffith and engage in an all-out custody war for custody. Jenelle revealed previously that she wanted to be finished with MTV and “Teen Mom 2” all together implying that she has had several offers from other networks including Netflix and Amazon for other projects.
However, it appears as if Jenelle Evans will stay at “Teen Mom 2” at least for Season 9 after that it is anyone’s guess as to where her future will lie.
