Loretta Lynn Hospitalized With Serious Health Issues, Fan Concern Mounts

Queen of Country Music Loretta Lynn was hospitalized on October 20 with serious medical issues following an unspecified health setback according to MSN. The 86-year-old country entertainer’s health has continued to be a concern for the singer since suffering a stroke in May of 2017 and most recently a broken hip.

Earlier today Michael Lynn posted a medical update on Loretta Lynn’s Facebook asking fans to “pray for her.”
“I am very sad to report this morning that the Queen of Country Music, Ms. Loretta Lynn has had some setbacks in her recovery and is back in the hospital with some serious issues,” he wrote. “She needs our prayers right now, and the one thing I do know for sure is that she is a fighter and will not go down easy. PLEASE pray today for her.”

It was reported earlier this week that Loretta Lynn was forced to miss the 2018 CMT Artists of the Year events where she was honored. Loretta wrote on social media

“Well Y’all, leave it to me to go and get sick on the very night all my friends are getting together to honor me at the CMT Award Show as their Artist of a Lifetime. I can’t believe that I’m not gonna be there tonight in person, but I am watching and I’m there in spirit!”

It has been a stressful year for Loretta Lynn and family, as previously reported in July, the Lynn family was hit with a shocking and devastating family loss with the death of Loretta Lynn’s ex-daughter-in-law Cindy Plemmons.

Cindy Plemmons was the former wife, of Loretta Lynn‘s son Ernest Ray, 59, reportedly died unexpectedly in her sleep at her Franklin, Tennessee home on Sunday, July 8 just hours after attending a concert at Lynn’s ranch.

Loretta Lynn is best known worldwide as The Queen of County Music and as one of country music’s all-time great singers with pull-no-punches hits like “The Pill,” “Fist City” and “You Ain’t Woman Enough” as well as numerous hit songs with close friend and duet partner the late Conway Twitty.
