Country singer Wynonna Judd’s 22-year-old daughter Grace Pauline Kelley has been sentenced to serve eight years behind bars for leaving her court-mandated recovery program and violating her probation according to People Magazine.
Kelley is currently incarcerated at the West Tennessee State Penitentiary in Henning, Tennessee, and has remained behind bars since April. In May 2017 Grace pled guilty to meth manufacture, delivery, sale and possession with intent in Tennessee. Grace Kelley has a long history of trouble with the law. In 2015 she was arrested at a Walgreen’s store and charged with promotion of meth manufacture.
Before her 2015 arrest, Grace remained in the temporary custody of her aunt, actress, Ashley Judd following claims that her mom Wynonna was abusive and hooked on prescription medication. Wynonna denied her daughter’s accusations.
Earlier this year, Ashley claimed she was a victim of sexual abuse and incest, something her sister and mother Naomi Judd also revealed they were victims as well. This is the same claims that Wynonna and Naomi Judd has revealed in the past.
During a past interview on “The View” Wynonna Judd opened up about the sexual abuse she had suffered.
“I am so sick and tired of the problem being discussed on TV. I want to be part of the solution,” Wynonna said on The View. “The veil has been lifted,” she added. “There are no more secrets. We can now live in truth.”
Wynonna Judd is not the only celebrity parent who has dealt with troubled children in 2018. Sean Penn and Robin Wright’s son, Hopper Penn, was arrested in Nebraska for drug possession in April, and Redmond O’Neal, son of Ryan O’Neal and Farrah Fawcett, was charged with attempted murder earlier this month after years of drug-related arrests.
To date, Wynonna Judd has yet to respond for request for comment on her daughter’s arrest.
