5 MTG TikTokers You Should Be Following

MTG TikTok, Maldhound

You probably enjoy a nice scroll through TikTok to kill boredom or wind down before bed. One of the best parts of the app is being able to stumble upon content that is tailored to your interests.  One of the oldest and most popular Trading Card Games is Magic: The Gathering and TikTok contains a plethora of content; from skits and memes to deck-building ideas and card finances, you can find it all.

Throughout many journeys scrolling into the depths of TikTok, here are some great Magic The Gathering-related content creators that you may not already be aware of. These creators bring their unique personalities to the platform and directly contribute to the growing number of new players discovering the Magic that is The Gathering.

MaldHound started off with Elden Ring and Dungeons and Dragons content but found his niche when he started both his “The Only Magic Coach” and “MTG Commander Roasting” series’.  His quick wit, paired with the always hilarious and completely arbitrary “Can this Commander Get It?” endings to the newer roast videos, will leave you laughing and entertained for hours.  He was recently featured in an episode of Shuffle Up & Play Commander from Tolarian Community College.

King Luke MTG (KingLuke420)

If you are looking to sink a couple of hours into watching entertaining skits, look no further.  King Luke MTG’s satirical take on “Power Level 7” decks never stops being funny, and his tongue-in-cheek card reviews and answers to user-submitted questions are still informative throughout all of the added humor.

Magic: The Gathering is a complex game with tons of differing mechanics and lengthy interactions that can be difficult to navigate.  Luckily for you, Keeping It Casual is here to help.  His “Minute Magic” series is a must-watch for new players, but there is a wealth of knowledge to be found for even a seasoned veteran.  This account should be a mandatory follow for understanding some of the most complex interaction questions in all of MTG.

Skulk, The Hulking (@skulkthehulking)

@skulkthehulking

Skulk, The Hulking consistently posts some of the most relatable MTG content on TikTok.  Even though most of his videos contain no speaking on his part, he is able to produce a ton of emotion through his acting.  His unique take on both the format and players lets his audience know that he is a seasoned veteran of the game.

Elder Dingus Highlander (@the_elder_dingus)

@the_elder_dingus

For any breaking Magic news, set spoilers, or spicy deck tech, Elder Dingus Highlander is the account to watch.  They always have their finger on the pulse of cards moving up in value, with a focus on Commander format.  Even experienced EDH players will be able to find value in the content, from lesser-known cards to new combo lines.
