Aaron Carter High Meet-And-Greet Prices Cause Outrage With Fan

Aaron Carter reportedly got into a verbal confrontation with a fan over the high cost of his meet-and-greet prices at the Indiana State Fair at Indianapolis Friday night.

A fan stepped up to Aaron Carter asking him for a photo before his concert got a rude awakening from the “I Want Candy” singer. Following the request for the selfie Carter rudely stated to the fan…

‘It will be $300 for a meet-and-greet,’ the troubled 31-year-old allegedly told the fan – according to TMZ reports. The fan was not willing to pay the high dollar for the interaction with Carter so Aaron then reportedly lowered the price to $250.

When that offer was still not appreciated he then dropped to $50 for the photo before he finally agreed to pose for free. However, that was after the fan allegedly told Carter that she felt bad for him since he “clearly needed the money.”

Aaron quickly and angrily responded… ‘I don’t need it. I have an $80K watch on.’

Carter’s website has a breakdown in pricing when it comes to meeting the former teen idol. To get in on the basic soundcheck VIP package be prepared to shell out $100 and for backstage Gold VIP for his Canadian concert $200.

Two hundred dollars sounds like a walk in the park when it comes to meeting some of the biggest and most popular entertainers. It has been reported that Justin Bieber and Beyonce should they agree to the meet and greet during a tour runs about $2000.

Brittany Spears will run nearly $2500 with Jennifer Lopez coming in at $1600. Sounds like fans these days who choose to meet their favorite celebs should research ahead of time to find out just how much it could cost them for a couple of minutes of contact with the star.

Prices for meet and greets have often brought on debates over whether or not celebrities should charge their fans for the opportunity to meet them.

Would you pay $300 to meet Aaron Carter? Just what would you pay to meet your favorite celebrity, or do you agree that there should be no charge?
