However, Amanda Bynes’ parents were probably the most shocked by their daughter’s arrest, as the Bynes’ had no idea that their daughter had been picked up for DUI, or that she was even in the Hollywood area.
Amanda Bynes’ father, Rick Bynes, revealed that he and his wife learned about their daughter’s DUI arrest from the media, and they were not the ones who bailed Amanda out of jail.
When asked about their daughter’s condition, state, ect…Rick continued to say “We don’t know.”

It seems that Amanda Bynes family believed she had been living in New York, but TMZ reveals she’s been staying in Hollywood.
Amanda moved out of her parents’ home after the conservatorship ended earlier this month. Sources close to Amanda felt that it was a terrible mistake not to extend the conservatorship, and it looks like they were right.
Amanda Bynes has reportedly been smoking a lot of weed, and is allegedly off her anti-psychotic medication, which she uses to treat Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder.
Amanda Bynes was also reportedly under the influence of Adderall at the time of her DUI arrest, which is a drug used to treat ADHD, but can be used to energy, weight loss, and other things among those who do not have ADHD.
