Amanda Bynes Relapses Returns To Mental Health Facility

Amanda Bynes walks the runway.

Amanda Bynes has reportedly suffered a relapse, the actress has checked in to a mental health rehab facility for treatment for a ‘stress-induced relapse’ according to TMZ.

Sources close to Amanda Bynes, 32, told the celebrity news site that Amanda had checked into the rehab facility back in January after showing signs of beginning to relapse and backslide months earlier.

Bynes appeared on the cover of Paper Magazine in November and spoke out about her past struggles, rehab and, recent plans to return to the public eye. However, the stress of it all has been too much for Amanda to handle and according to the family source, she is currently continuing to undergo treatment for mental health and drug addiction issues.

Fans will remember back in 2014 Bynes spiraled out of control involving a number of legal and mental health issues ranging from shoplifting, DUI and attacking fans before being placed on a 5150 hold.

The entire year was, unfortunately, one crazy and sad event after the next for the troubled star which also caused a major turmoil between herself and her parents. Amanda Bynes even accused her father publicly of being behind the majority of her problems claiming that her father had caused her life to be a nightmare” and had attempted to sexually abuse her.

In 2017, it was announced that Amanda was planning her big comeback, not only in fashion and design, but that she had huge plans to return to acting.

Thankfully, Amanda Bynes is once again receiving the professional help she needs along with the love and support of her parents. Amanda remains under a conservatorship started by her parents, but it’s been run by a mental health professional since 2014. We continue to hope for the best for her and look forward to seeing her healthy return one day in the near future.
