The woman who secretly posted the $2000 bail for Amber Portwood has requested the courts refund her money according to Starcasm reports.
Amber Portwood’s domestic violence arrest case continues to reveal more strange and bizarre details. Court documents reveal that on Monday, September 30 the woman, who is known by Rhonda submitted an official request for a refund of the $2000 she ponied up for Amber’s bail.
The written request states;
“I, Rhonda [redacted] am requesting that the court release the bond to me due to the fact that the money that I paid for the bond was income that [is] owed to me from the Defendant, Amber Portwood,” the hand-written request begins.
Rhonda’s request went on to explain “this bond posting has created a serious financial burden on my family and I am respectfully requesting that the bond be released to me immediately. I am currently unemployed and my husband is on short-term disability. We are facing disconnect issues on our electric and gas expenses and are without any other source of financial income.”
Despite Rhonda’s desperate written plea the judge assigned to the Teen Mom OG’s case has denied her request. Now Rhonda’s only hope of regaining the $2000 she needs so desperately has fallen on the hopes that Amber Portwood will return the money.
As previously reported, Portwood was arrested over the Fourth of July weekend on domestic violence charges at her Indiana home following a verbal confrontation between herself and boyfriend and baby daddy Andrew Glennon.
According to police, the 29-year-old mom of two assaulted her boyfriend, who was holding their 1-year-old son in his arms at the time. Andrew told the police that he and Amber were “having a disagreement” when Amber became violent.
Rhonda has reportedly since come forward to speak with Youtuber Without A Crystal Ball spilling all of the alleged details. Rhonda claims she is a former employee of Portwood.
During her short term employment, Rhonda claims she took notice of a lot of disturbing behavior from Amber. She claims that Amber “showed that child no attention,” speaking of her son James.
When asked if she had ever witnessed Amber using drugs she stated, no, but added that there was a strong marijuana smell in Portwood’s closet and a basket of pot paraphernalia in the attic.
She also stated during the interview that Amber slept “a lot during the day.” She also stated of Amber and Andrew’s relationship that Amber yelled at Andrew constantly and that he was always walking on eggshells.
When asked about Amber’s temper Rhonda added that anything could and would set Amber off at any given time.

Following Portwood’s arrest, Rhonda confirmed that there were a number of gash marks on the door where Andrew alleges she attacked him with a machete.
Rhonda also claims that the day after Amber Portwood’s arrest she came to the house to pick up her things and asked Rhonda to do her a favor.
Rhonda says Amber said to her: “Rhonda I need you to do me a favor. I need you to tell Andrew that I love him and I need him to lie and he needs to change his story, because if he doesn’t, I’m going to prison for six years.” Rhonda says Amber told her that twice, and Rhonda’s niece was present. Rhonda reveals she has spoken to the prosecutor and the detective about Amber’s request.
Another strange twist according to Rhonda that before Amber’s release her mother Tonya came to the house and demanded that Rhonda bail Amber out.
Rhonda claims she had to use her own money because Tonya did not have the cash. She also claims that Tonya threatened her job if she did not do as she was told.
These new details along with the horrifying audio tapes have put a huge spin on Amber Portwood’s current domestic violence case. Many Teen Mom OG fans are wondering why MTV has not taken the action to fire Amber from the popular reality series as they have with previous other troubled Teen Mom stars.
The pretrial hearing is set for October 10th, it will be interesting to see how the judge assigned to Amber Portwood’s case will proceed considering Amber’s past violent history.
