Amber Portwood is engaged. The “Teen Mom OG” star has confirmed that she is planning to marry her current boyfriend Matt Baier after the first trailer for the new season was released showing Matt popping the question to Amber.

In the trailer, Baier asks Portwood to marry him and presents her with a diamond ring. However, the camera quickly cuts to Amber shocked face, and fans don’t get to see what her answer to the question is, but now we know that Amber Portwood is engaged, and very happy with her life post-prison.
There will be a lot of changes this season on “Teen Mom” as fans will see Maci Bookout’s relationship with her longtime boyfriend Taylor McKinney. In fact the couple will announced that they are having a baby. Catelynn and Tyler will welcome a new daughter, and Farrah Abraham will shock the girls by returning to the franchise.
‘Teen Mom OG’ will bring the drama
However, Amber Portwood getting engaged is just the tip of the iceberg as far as her story line. Amber will continue her fight to stay sober after her release from prison. She’ll also find a new love in Matt Baier, deal with her father’s untimely death, and continue to have issues with her ex-boyfriend Gary Shirley, who is also in a serious relationship and expecting a child with his current girlfriend.
“I think people are trying to compare this relationship with mine and Gary [Shirley]’s in the past, and it doesn’t even compare,” she told MTV News. “People just need to accept that I’m happy, and I have a good life with my fiancé now.”
Fans can watch Amber’s engagement and all the rest of the drama on the new season of “Teen Mom OG” starting March 23 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
