‘American Horror Story’ Season 6: 5 Shocking Moments From ‘My Roanoke Nightmare’ Chapter 2

American Horror Story” Season 6 was back for the second episode in the still mysterious “My Roanoke Nightmare.” The episode, simply titled “Chapter 2,” delivered just as many scary moments as the premiere, but offered little insight into where this storyline is going. So, let’s just dive right into the most shocking moments from last night’s all new episode.

1.) Pig Headed: The episode picks up right where the premiere left off with Shelby in the woods. During this time, she see Kathy Bates’ creepy character leading a group believed to the Roanoke colonists in the killing of one of their own. The man is tied to a stake, forced to where the head of a dead hollowed out pig, and then burned alive.

Shelby sees this and is terrified. The group sees her and she runs out of the woods as fast as she can into the road, where she’s nearly hit by her sister-in-law Lee’s car. Shelby faints and is taken home.

2.) Ghosts Of Nurses Past: Matt Is woken up by the sound of pig noises, per usual, and heads down stairs to check it out. The phone rings and he answers it. On the other line he hears moaning. When he looks down, the telephone isn’t even plugged into the wall!

That’s when Matt sees two women in his home. The two are dressed as nurses and he follows them into the other room where they have an old lady in a hospital bed. The crazy nurses proceed to murder the old lady by shooting her in the head. The police are called, but they find nothing. Matt wonders if it was a dream.

3.) Flora’s New Friend: Lee’s daughter Flora is brought to spend the weekend with her in the house. During this time, Flora is heard talking to a girl she calls Priscilla. When Lee and her ex-husband Mason ask Flora why she’s talking to the seemingly imaginary girl, Flora says “so she won’t kill us.” Flora then goes on to say that “they” are going to kill all of them and save Flora for last. Mason is furious and takes Flora crying out of the house, promising Lee that she won’t be back to visit.

4.) Another Scary Video Tape: After Matt and Shelby see a little girl in their front yard, they go out to explore. The pair find an underground bunker and head down to investigate. While in the bunker they find that someone had previously lived in there and they also find more creepy video tapes. On the tape, Dr. Elias Cunningham is seen again.

The doctor states on tape that the house was opened as an assisted living facility by two nurses who killed their patients as they tried spell out “MURDER” on the wall using the first initial of their victims names. However, before they could complete their sinister task they disappeared. Cunningham claims something had taken them, and that he was going to get to the bottom of it. Matt and Shelby then find the letters “M-U-R-D-E” on the wall behind the wallpaper.

5.) Flora Disappears: Lee falls off the wagon after the sad incident with Flora and Mason. The next day she decides that she wants to see her daughter and picks her up from school, technically kidnapping her. Mason calls and is furious, saying he’s on his way to pick her up. When Lee goes to find Flora she’s disappeared.

Lee, Matt, and Shelby search the entire house and the woods for Flora, but all they find of her is her tiny yellow hooded sweatshirt at the top of an insanely high tree.
