Tano In The World Between Worlds
At the height of episode four, Ahsoka Tano’s duel with the dark Jedi Baylon Skoll takes a turn for the worse as she is forced off the side of a cliff. It is unknown what happens to her after that until the end of the episode. Lady Tano wakes up in a familiar place for those of you who watch Star Wars Rebels. Known as the World Between Worlds, this is a place where past events can be seen and affected. The most famous instance of this was Ezra Bridger interfering with Vader and Ahsoka’s duel on Malachor.
The most shocking part was when Ahsoka was called out to by an iconic voice in the Star Wars galaxy. It was no other than Anakin Skywalker! Hayden Christensen in the flesh! Ahsoka turns to face her former master as he dawns his dark leather tunic and long hair as seen in Revenge Of The Sith.
How is this possible? Well, according to Gizmodo.com the World Between Worlds exists seemingly outside of the light/dark side of the force. It is an extraplanar reality within the Cosmic Force itself. Anakin being the chosen one destined to bring balance to the force, it only makes sense he would have access to such a place after he becomes part of the Cosmic Force.

Why Does Anakin have Vader’s Lightsaber When Meeting Ahsoka?
It is worth noting that Anakin does not have his lightsaber but instead has Vader’s attached to his hip. Vader’s theme also plays as the episode ends. This leads fans to believe that Ahsoka may get to witness the fight between Anakin and Obi-Wan thanks to the World Between Worlds. Thanks to the gateways that allow the lucky few to see the past, Ahsoka may finally get to see the true downfall and redemption of her master.
It will be very interesting to see what Dave Filoni has in store for in episode five and beyond. For now, we will all have to wait till next week to see what Anakin and Ahsoka get into in their first live-action appearance together. The Fans are very excited!
