“And Just Like That” Season 3 is officially a go. The “Sex and The City” revival was renewed for a third season by Max. The announcement was made just days before the Season 2 finale of the series, which featured a cameo from Samantha Jones herself, Kim Cattrall.
Max’s head of original content, Sarah Aubrey, gushed over another season for the series. “We raise our cosmos to [showrunner] Michael Patrick King and his magnificent team of writers, producers, cast and crew who continue to charm us, 25 years later, with dynamic friendships and engaging stories,” she said in a statement (via TVLine). “We cannot wait for audiences to see where season three will take our favorite New Yorkers.”
And Just Like That Season 3 is coming to Max
“We are thrilled to spend more time in the Sex And The City universe telling new stories about the lives of these relatable and aspirational characters played by these amazing actors. And Just Like That… here comes Season 3,” King said in his statement about the big news.
Currently, not much is known about “And Just Like That” Season 3. Although the show has been renewed, there are some obstacles. The strikes in Hollywood make it impossible to get the ball rolling on the production of the show. However, the three main cast members, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristen Davis are all expected to return.

What to expect in Season 3 of the Sex and The City sequel series
The show will likely continue to follow Carrie’s life after the death of her husband, as well as her romance with Aiden (John Corbett). Meanwhile, Miranda’s sexuality and family dynamic will also be present in Season 3. Of course, Charlotte’s return to work and parental struggles will also be highlighted.
Additionally, the stories of the supporting characters such as Che, Nya, Lisa, Seema, and Anthony will also be front and center throughout the episodes. While “And Just Like That” has a different feel than “Sex and The City,” fans have embraced the series. The show focuses on women’s relationships, careers, friendships, and more at a later age.
