Angelina Jolie has revealed that she is done with acting and is ready to move on to directing, writing and saving the world at this time in her life.
Will Angie halt her acting career soon?
“Maleficent” could very well be one of Angelina Jolie’s last acting roles according to reports that reveal Joli is ready to focus on writing, directing and her philanthropy projects more at this time in her life.
During the film’s promotion Angie made it a point to reveal that her acting days are pretty much over because she is choosing to focus more on some of her other interests behind the cameras these days.
Jolie ready to change up career path?
Angelina Jolie stated to The Telegraph, “[acting’s] going to be taking more of a back seat. I’ve had a wonderful career and I’m going to be taking all of the opportunities I’ve had to tell stories and work for as long as I have. I’m sure there’ll be a few more films, but I’m happy I’m able to be selective and have fun with characters like this. I would like to focus more on writing and directing, and above all I would like to focus more on my work with the UN.”
This is not the first time that Angelina Jolie, or even her husband actor Brad Pitt have expressed their interest in leaving acting and becoming more involved with other things at this time in their lives.
Brad stated in a previous interview that he wanted to stop acting when he was 50. look out ladies, the heartthrob turned the big 5-0 back in December.
