Apex Legends Developers Admit Seer Is Too Strong

Apex Legends video game

After the arrival of season ten of Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends fans were a little worried about the brand new recon legend Seer.

Players were worried because they thought his abilities might be too strong even though the developers said they would be balanced and not overpowered. According to We Got This Covered, “In a recent Reddit AMA, Nordin continues to confirm that Seer will receive some balance updates in an upcoming patch though stops short of detailing exactly what these will entail. Whatever the case, fans won’t have to wait for the usual midseason update for these changes to roll out, as they’re penciled in for much sooner”.

The issue most plates have with Seer is that his tactical ability lasts too long. His ability allows Seer and his teammates to see the exact location of enemies and the health bar through all surfaces for 8 seconds. It also cancels all healing and revises that is happening the moment the ability hits.

Apex has one big problem

Seer’s ability also works as a kind of flashbang as after you are hit your character is temporarily blind for about one second and by that time the fight could already be lost. Seer’s tactical ability also stops all legends that are hit with it from using any abilities for two seconds. It is safe to say that Seer is a little too strong and clearly something needs to be done quickly.

Respawn Entertainment has stated that they are going to nerf Seer as well as some other thing in the game. This is great news for the entire Apex legends community but it is probably not so great if you are a Seer main. Hopefully, this will balance the legends and the gameplay of the competitive matches of Apex legends as well as the Arenas game mode. It will be very interesting to see how strong or weak Seer is after the next update where he will reportedly be getting a nerf.

Besides the overly strong character and weapons, season 10 of Apex Legends has been well received so far and fans are looking forward to seeing what Respawn Entertainment has in store for the rest of the new season. Players are now hoping to put the Seer problem behind them once he gets his nerf so they can all go back to enjoying the game they love to play with all of their friends.
