Are You The One? is officially returning to TV. The reality dating series hasn’t aired a new season since 2019, but now the show is coming back for Season 9. This time, the series will stream on the Paramount+ app. The show will debut on the app on January 18, 2023, and be available in other countries the following day, per Variety.
This time around, TV host and model Kamie Crawford will host the series. Are You The One? Season 9 will also be the franchise’s first global edition, as it was filmed in Spain. Fans may recognize Crawford from her time on another MTV series “Catfish,” where she filled in as a co-host in 2020.

The reality TV show garnered the interest of fans when it premiered on MTV. The reality dating show featured sexy singles looking to find their perfect matches. The cast members lived together and competed in a series of challenges that helped them get to know one another better. Then, each week they would pair up in hopes of all finding their matches.
The show aired for 8 seasons on MTV. During 2019’s groundbreaking season, the cast was made up of all sexually fluid contestants, making finding their perfect matches all the harder. Each week, the cast would partner up in hopes of getting more perfect matches than the week before. The goal was always to find everyone’s perfect match so that the contestants would be able to split a cash prize at the end of the season.
Are You The One? produced 8 seasons and one spin-off in the past
So far, out of 8 seasons, only the cast of Season 5 was unable to find their perfect matches and take home the money. Following the popularity of the show also aired a spin-off series titled Are You The One?: Second Chances. The series featured former perfect matches competing against each other in different competitions in hopes of winning money. Of course, there was a twist.
When the couples would win they would get to decide if they wanted to split the money with their partner or steal it for themselves. If both chose to steal they lost the money altogether. However, if only one person chose to steal then they took home all the money, leaving their partner without any cash.
Some fans may not remember past seasons of Are You The One? since it’s been off the air for so long. However, those who have been waiting for Season 9 are thrilled that the series finally coming back. Meanwhile, new fans are sure to be born upon checking out the reality dating show’s latest season.
