Arnold Schwarzenegger was physically attacked on Saturday in Sandton, South Africa while in attendance at the Arnold Classic Africa. According to TMZ reports Arnold was rushed from behind and drop-kicked by an unidentified man.
The attacker caught Arnold Schwarzenegger with his back turned lunged forward without hitting the ground after being kicked. Security immediately apprehended the man and was removed from the building.
Arnold claims he was basically un-phased by the attacker and told fans he was fine and that there was “nothing to worry about.” He also claims he did not even realize he had been kicked until reviewing the video after the fact and that the man had actually injured himself.
Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot. I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat.

It just goes to show that even at 71-years-old Schwarzenegger is not a man to mess with. The former Governor of California continued his day signing autographs and talking with stunned fans who were on hand to witness the bizarre attack on the action hero.
Just another interesting day in the life and times of Arnold Schwarzenegger. You have to admit that the attacker had a lot of nerve going after the former Mr. Universe and Mr. Olympia title holder. Evan at Arnold’s advanced age it is more than obvious that despite security that the attacker would not have stood a fighting chance against him.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is currently filming another entry of the Terminator franchise, with Terminator: Dark Fate. Fans can look forward to the latest installment when the film hits theaters in November.
