Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis offered their support to Danny Masterson

It’s no secret that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have been close with Danny Masterson over the years. The trio all starred together on “That 70s Show” in their younger years. After Kutcher tied the knot with Kunis, he and Masterson went on to star together on the Netflix series “The Ranch.” However, Masterson was later written off of the show due to his sexual assault allegations.

Throughout it all, Kutcher has been adamant about supporting Masterson. In early 2023, the actor spoke out about his friend’s legal situation. “I don’t want him to elude the law, but I wish for the truth to show he’s innocent,” Kutcher told Esquire (via Rolling Stone). However, he did claim that he couldn’t comment about whether or not his friend was guilty or innocent. “I can’t know… I’m not the judge, the jury, the DA, the victim, or the accused. I’m in no position to comment. I genuinely don’t know,” he added.

Fans speak out about Ashton and Mila’s support of their longtime friend

“That’s quite the stance to take,” one person tweeted about the couple. “I get that’s your friend, but sometimes you just really don’t know who your friends are behind closed doors…” another person stated. “That’s what they thought about their friend. They may not be aware of the dark side of their friend’s life,” another said.
Meanwhile, other stars like Leah Remini spoke out against Danny Masterson. Remini, who has become known or speaking out against Masterson’s religion, Scientology, took to Twitter to share her thoughts. Remini revealed that she was happy that the “dangerous” actor was off the streets. She also praised the victims for their bravery while speaking out in court. Although Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis may disagree with Remini’s sentiments, Masterson has been convicted and could spend the rest of his life behind bars.
