An Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger divorce is coming. The couple officially announced their split to fans via social media on Wednesday.

According to MTV, Avril Lavigne shared a photo of herself and Chad Kroeger on their wedding day, and told them about the split, saying they will remain the “best of friends.”
“It is with heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today,” she wrote. “Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we’ve created many unforgettable moments. We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other. To all our family, friends and fans, thank you sincerely for the support.”
Another Divorce For Lavigne
Avril and Chad have been denying divorce rumors for months, and allegedly just bouth a $5.4 million home in Sherman Oaks, California together. The “Complicated” singer was also seen wearing her wedding ring when she appeared with Taylor Swift just last week as apart of the 1989 World Tour.
Before marrying Kroeger in 2013, Lavigne was married to Sum 41 lead singer Deryck Whibley. The two divorced in 2009.
