Bachelor in Paradise Season 4 is already the most controversial season of the show and it hasn’t even aired yet. As many fans know, production on the season was shut down shortly after the cast arrived and began filming due to misconduct allegations. An investigation revealed that Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson were at the center of the allegations.
According to Us Weekly magazine, Bachelor in Paradise fans know that rumors about Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson’s sexual encounter began to run wild. Speculation that Corinne may have been black out drunk, and/or was unable to consent to sexual contact, began to circulate. Corinne released a statement claiming that she did not consent, and that she was the victim in the situation. However, Demario claimed that the footage would clear his name.
The investigation raged and eventually revealed that there was no wrongdoing in the Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson case. However, when filming resumed on Bachelor in Paradise Season 4, neither Olympios nor Jackson returned to the show.
Now, Bachelor In Paradise host Chris Harrison reveals that not only will the Corinne/DeMario scandal be dealt with immediately on the show, but that footage from that night. “To the best of my knowledge, you’re going to see more than enough to show you what was happening that led up to the shutdown, within certain taste and values of what we can show on network TV,” Harrison said.
“We thought you needed to see that. So you’re going to see a lot of it, including Corinne and DeMario on the show,” Harrison explained. “When we restart, it will be me back in Mexico walking you through what happened and then we’re going to watch what happened. And then we’ll cut back to me and I’ll kind of shed some more light on things and then we’re going to go back and you’re going to see more of what happened, [and] not just the controversial. You’re going to see a lot of things, people falling in love, a lot of dates happening.”
