Barbara Walters

TV icon Barbara Walters’ health continues to decline at a rapid rate with advanced dementia. It has progressed to the point that Barbara doesn’t recognize or remember even her lifelong and closets friends according to Radar Online.

Barbara Walters has been absent from the public eye for the past few years. As previously reported in 2018, Walters allegedly came to terms with her failing health and advancing age and began planning for her own funeral.

Walters also began seeing her family and friends less and less and began having issues with her memory and recognizing even her closest of friends including longtime pal and View co-star Whoopi Goldberg.

Reports claim that Walters reps continue to deny that Barbara is suffering from any types of health ailments at all, but those close to Walters are well aware that the news journalists remains inside the doors of her home, missing major events that she held dear to her heart for years.

The outlet claims that Goldberg recently made a visit to Barbara’s home that left Whoopi and Barbara very upset. Sources close to Walters stated that when Whoopi entered the room Walters became very upset.

“Barbara’s eyes were opened wide, and she was terrified,” a Radar Online source said. “Barbara screamed: ‘Who is she? Get out, get out! Help me! Get out.’

“She wouldn’t stop. No one could calm her down. Whoopi excused herself from the room. She was heartbroken by what she saw,” the source added.

“She’s in a wheelchair at home and spends most of the day looking out of her windows. It’s all very sad.”
