However, it seems that the drama is heating up as sources claim that JLo is growing increasingly upset with the actor. Things have reportedly gotten so bad that the duo aren’t even on speaking terms and are using their lawyers to do the talking for them. However, the singer’s temper may be ready to boil over with Affleck’s latest behavior.
In Touch reports that Jennifer Lopez is fed up with Ben Affleck’s antics. She believes that he’s gaslighting her with his actions, and she’s getting tired of it. In addition to popping his wedding ring on and off whenever it suits him, the actor also bought a brand new bachelor pad. To make matters worse, he purchased the house on JLo’s 55th birthday.

Ben and Jen have spent the summer apart. Affleck has remained in Los Angeles while Lopez took off to Italy before setting in New York for the summer. They also spent the singer’s birthday and their second wedding anniversary apart with no public acknowledgment.
“The fact that he bought a new home while she was celebrating her birthday in the Hamptons was really humiliating for her,” a source told the magazine. “Plus, one day he has his ring on, and the next day it’s off — it’s like he’s gaslighting her.”
“The way Ben ignored their anniversary, then her birthday, while having the tenacity to claim he’s protecting her somehow … it was shocking. It makes JLo sick to her stomach. People in their circle are wondering how it’s gotten to this point and become so toxic,” the insider added.
Many fans are counting the days until Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez announce their split and officially go their separate ways. However, others are holding out hope that they may get back together.
JLo was seen spending time with Affleck’s son, Samuel, this week. She was also said to have visited his new home for several hours. Could a romantic reunion be in the works, or are the duo finalizing their divorce? Only time will tell.
