Ben Affleck made a colossal mistake on Sunday night’s livestream on Netflix. He was supposed to be there for the Roast of Tom Brady. But, the Batman star had his agenda and set off a wild rant with very little to do with the NFL star and more about his feelings.

As far as social media is concerned A-Lister Ben Affleck royally screwed up again. Instead of roasting NFL star Tom Brady during the Netflix livestream, Ben Affleck went off on a loud, long rager blasting social media. While the actor made a small attempt to tie his rant to Tom, many viewers believe it was a selfish personal attack.
Ben Affleck is not a fan of social media. Over the years, he has given the Internet plenty to blast him about. But tonight, he may have taken the cake. Movie Web.com calls the actor out for his sloppy attempt. They describe him as off his game. He appeared sweaty and nervous and stumbled over his words throughout his rant.
While it may have been Affleck’s agenda to put social media trolls in their place, he gave them more to blast him about, which they did immediately after he began his attempt at a roast.
Ben Fails To Impress
Affleck raged about online football fans.”You there, f**king hiding behind your keyboard,” continued Affleck, “spewing out all this f*cking toxic sh*t about people you’d be afraid to come up to if you saw them at the car wash […] You guys out there talking sh*t, all right behind your f*cking keyboard, that doesn’t make you a fan. That makes you a b*tch.”
Instead of giving the audience a laugh, they looked embarrassed and uncomfortable as the actor’s bit dragged on and on. Finally, after swiping at football coach Bill Belichick, Ben Affleck looked like he may have had a brief moment of clarity and laughed, saying, “He will likely never work again after this.”
Netflix viewers immediately took to social media and began tearing down Ben Affleck and his performance. If the actor thought he hated social media before tonight, he is in for a big surprise—that is, if he ever comes out of hiding.
