Ben Affleck is sharing details about his divorce from Jennifer Lopez. The “Batman” actor got candid in a recent interview, and when it comes to speaking about life after his split with JLo, he didn’t hold back. It seems that Ben wants his fans to know that he’s doing well, and that there is no drama between he and his ex-wife. In fact, he says things in his life are pretty calm at the moment.
During a feature with GQ for the April 2025 issue, Ben Affleck opened up about life and divorce. He revealed that “there’s no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue” when it comes to his split with Jennifer Lopez. Instead, he reflected on himself and the conclusions he’s come to about the end of his second marriage.
“The truth is, when you talk to somebody, ‘Hey, what happened?’ Well, there is no, ‘This is what happened,'” he said. “It’s just a story about people trying to figure out their lives and relationships in ways that we all sort of normally do.”
“For one thing, you start going, ‘Okay, clearly this person has got these issues. Clearly they have these issues.’ And the reason I don’t want to share that is just sort of embarrassing. It feels vulnerable.”

However, just days before they were set to get married, they announced that they had called off the wedding due to privacy issues. Weeks later, they split for good.
In 2021, fans were stunned when Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez got back together. Their relationship seemed to pick up where it had left off, and they quickly got engaged for a second time. This time around they made it down the aisle, tying the knot in 2022. However, the marriage was short-lived, and JLo filed for divorce in August 2024.
