A television memorial tribute for Beth Chapman is being planned for next Monday by A&E according to TMZ.
The network plans to air regular 4-hour block of “Dog the Bounty Hunter” on Monday morning. It will conclude with a special televised “In Memoriam” tribute to Beth Chapman.
Beth Chapman, 51, died on Wednesday morning at a Honolulu hospital after a two-year battle with throat cancer. The reality television star was first diagnosed with cancer back in 2017. In December, Beth announced that she was cancer free.
In November of 2018, Beth revealed that her cancer had returned and that she would be undergoing aggressive chemotherapy treatment. Beth fought a long and hard battle against the disease for several months. On Mother’s Day Beth announced that she had decided to stop treatment.
On Saturday, Beth was admitted to the hospital on after suffering from breathing and choking complications. Earlier this week sources close to the Chapman family stated that Beth was not expected to recover, and that the family had begun preparing to say their final goodbyes.
Duane and Beth Chapman are best known for their A&E reality series “Dog the Bounty Hunter.” The series aired for eight seasons on the network.
A&E reps shared their condolences stating, “We are very saddened by the loss of Beth Chapman and our thoughts are with Dog and the entire Chapman family during this difficult time.”
Beth Chapman spent her final days in a medically-induced coma surrounded by her beloved husband Duane “Dog” Chapman, her children, family, and closest friends before passing away early Wednesday morning.
