‘Big Bang Theory’ Season 10 Spoilers: Katey Sagal To Play Penny’s Mom
According to Entertainment Weekly, actress Katey Sagal has been cast as Penny’s mother. Katey, who has starred in TV hits such as “Married With Children” and “Sons Of Anarchy,” will step back into the role of actress Kaley Cuoco’s TV mom. The two previously worked together on the sitcom “8 Simple Rules.”
It appears that Kaley Cuoco is more than happy about Katey Sagal joining the “Big Bang Theory” cast. The actress took to her Instagram account to shoutout her favorite TV mama.
“Yes yes yes yes !!!” she posted to Instagram on Friday, along with a throwback photo of herself and Katey Sagal. “Once my tv mom, always my tv mom 😍 love you @kateylous !!!!! #fullcircle.”
Jack McBrayer Cast As Penny’s Brother
However, Kate Sagal isn’t the only member of Penny’s family that “Big Bang Theory” viewers are going to meet in Season 10. Actor Jack McBrayer is set to play Penny’s brother, whom she’s talked about having drug addiction issues in the past. McBrayer is one of the funniest and quirkiest actors on television, and should be a good fit into the already hilarious cast.
Penny’s mother and brother will be seen in the very first episode of Season 10, just as Penny and Leonard are set to re-do their wedding in front of their family and friends. The episode is also sure to have some drama as when we last saw the “Big Bang Theory” gang, Sheldon’s mom and Leonard’s dad seemed to be headed toward a hot hook up.
