‘The Big Bang Theory’ Season 9 Premiere: Penny and Leonard Get Married!
While “The Big Bang Theory” premiere left fans feeling great about Penny and Leonard’s wedding, it didn’t end the way they had expected. Just minutes after their Vegas wedding, which was streamed online for Bernadette, Howard, Raj, Stewart, Amy, and Sheldon to see, the couple were back in their hotel room fighting.
Penny revealed that every time she kissed Leonard that she could only picture him with the woman whom he admitted to making out with on his boat during a work expedition, a woman named Mandy. During the argument, Leonard let it slip that he sees Mandy every day at work and feels guilty.
Penny totally flips out that Leonard works with this woman and they pair head home from Vegas married, but not together. Each of them go to their separate apartments and the fate of their relationship hangs in the balance yet again.
Sheldon and Amy Break Up Drama
Meanwhile, “The Big Bang Theory” Season 9 premiere also focused on Sheldon and Amy’s break up. Amy told Sheldon that she needed some time to think about their relationship just as it was revealed he had an engagement ring he planned to give her.
During the episode, Sheldon complains about women ruining lives while trying to get back together with Amy, and since he’s Sheldon he bugs Amy until she declares they are officially done forever.
