Big Brother 25: Luke Valentine Kicked Out Of House For Using Racial Slur

“Big Brother 25” hasn’t even been filming for a week, but there’s already a huge scandal in the house. Contestant Luke Valentine has been the first member of the cast to go after he was kicked out of the house for reportedly using the N-word. Valentine’s comment came during a conversation with other houseguests on the live streams, per TMZ.

Luke Valentine was seen speaking with his fellow contestants and telling a story when he allegedly dropped the racial slur, seemingly causing a visible reaction from the other houseguests.

Big Brother 25 contestant Luke Valentine Expelled From Production

Not long after the incident, Valentine was asked to leave the show by production. Later, producers confirmed the news. “Luke violated the Big Brother code of conduct and there is zero tolerance in the house for using a racial slur, CBS said in a statement. “He has been removed from the house. His departure will be addressed in Thursday night’s show.”

This isn’t the first time that “Big Brother” has had to deal with racial issues. During Season 24, contestant Kyle Carpenter took heat for suggesting an all-white alliance. Kyle wasn’t asked to leave the house, but he did get evicted soon after and apologized for his actions.

What fans are saying about the controversy

Of course, social media fans had plenty to say about the situation. “CBS always casts these people though,” one person tweeted. “The casting directors need to do better background checks or something rather than picking the first white guy with muscles they see,” another commented. “I’m getting tired of these contestants being racist and/or sexist,” another wrote.

The show will address the situation during the Thursday night episode of the show, which was set to be a live eviction. However, with Luke Valentine being kicked out of the “Big Brother” house for breaking the code of conduct, there is a good chance that the rest of the cast members are safe and that there may not be an eviction this week.

What’s next for Big Brother 25?

Meanwhile, fans know that anything can happen on the hit reality TV series, and host Julie Chen Moonves always claims that viewers and contestants should expect the unexpected. Perhaps another cast member will be forced to pack their bags and leave the “Big Brother” house, or another contestant could be asked to move in.

Of course, this is far from the first time that “Big Brother” has dealt with early exits from the show, and fans have grown a bit used to seeing scandal and controversy over the years.
