Bill Cosby claims he is feeling “no remorse” over the outcome of his actions according to Radar Online. Bill Cosby gave his first message from prison and it is bizarre, to say the least. Cosby claims he has no regrets despite the outcome following his conviction of sex crimes which includes rape.
In his prison message, Bill Cosby claims that he considers himself a political prisoner who continues to fight for the rights of all people.
“Here’s why I, [Mr. Cosby] have no remorse and will never have remorse. I was given a deal; I settled out of court for $3.8 million; I waived my 5th amendment rights; I was declared Not Guilty in 2005 by the Commonwealth – never charged,” Cosby, 81, told NBC10’s Erin Coleman.
As previously reported Bill Cosby, in April 2018 was found guilty of drugging Andrea Constand and sexually assaulting her at his home in 2004. Cosby continues to insist that he was wrongfully charged despite the numerous accusations and witnesses that testified against him during his trial.
“A low-life District Attorney and a corrupt Judge needed me Guilty now,” he said in his statement. “Not for justice, but for their political aspirations. They say, Mr. Cosby you must attend these classes. Why? One word. Entrapment! My political beliefs, my actions of trying to humanize all races, genders and religions landed me in this place surrounded by barb wire fencing, a room made of steel and iron.”
“So, I now have a temporary residence that resembles the quarters of some of the Greatest Political Prisoners – Martin Luther King, Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Randal Robinson, and Dr. Benjamin Chavis. I stand upright as a Political Prisoner and I Smile. The Truth is Strong!” Concluded Cosby.
Many believe that Bill Cosby’s advanced age and health issues will find the shamed comic spending his final days in prison without ever seeing his wife and children again. As previously reported here, Cosby was recently moved to general population. Since Cosby’s arrest, he has had zero visitors, from any of his friends and family members including his wife and children.
Andrew Wyatt Cosby’s spokesman stated that he does not expect his wife Camille or their daughters to visit despite living in the family estate located only 20 miles from the prison.
“He doesn’t want to have them in that environment,” said Wyatt, who visits regularly. “Why put them in that position, to make it turn into some form of a circus?”
Bill has also had a few strange moments since his imprisonment, he recently stated that he believed he was possessed by the ghost of his late mother.
Prison officials and medical personnel believe that Cosby’s mental faculties are beginning to slip away from the 81-year-old. Officials have been recording and have a phone conversation where he said that he was inadvertently communicating with his dead mother Anna Pear Cosby who passed away in 1991.
Do you believe Bill Cosby is losing touch with reality or is he playing a crazy game with prison officials?
