Blake Shelton took a nasty tumble on stage during his live performance at Oregon’s Pendleton Whiskey Music Festival on Saturday, July 14 according to reports from US.
Blake Shelton, 42, was even man enough to own it on Sunday and encouraged his social media followers to post the video of his fall. Shelton took to Twitter jokingly begging someone to post the video of his fall.

Ask and you shall receive. It did not take long before Blake Shelton’s wish was granted. One user uploaded the video revealing Blake in action on stage and appearing to stumble a bit before tripping on some stage equipment. Shelton continued to joke about his stage fall and even suggested that it was the fault of singer Pitbull, who was also performing at the Pendleton Festival.
“By the way @pitbull…I blame you,” he tweeted. “It was my attempt at competing with your show… I am a dancing son of a bitch when I don’t take a 10 second giant s—t fall…”

However, some of Blake Shelton’s followers did not find the same amusement in Blake’s fall nor his admitting to over drinking. One humorless social media user posted a reply to Blake’s tweet throwing shade about the performance and comparing him to Justin Bieber.
Shelton responded, tweeting,
Oh I’m sorry ma’am… This account is meant for people who actually have a sense of humor.. We’re not accepting cry baby tweets today.. Maybe try again tomorrow! https://t.co/xMzHRiStNu

While the majority of other’s comments agreed that Blake Shelton put on one of the best shows they had ever seen.
“He tripped on something as he was walking backwards. His guitarist and violinist were having an awesome competition, so he was stepping back to give them the attention and do their thing and was really into it so not paying attention 100% from what it looked like to me.”
As previously reported country singer Garth Brooks has taken a number of stage falls over the years. However, stage falls are not only for the country music singers many a pop star and rocker have suffered plenty of brutal falls including, Steven Tyler, Justin Bieber, Harry Styles to name just a few.
Many fans believe that Blake Shelton showed a lot of heart and humor to even acknowledge the stage fall, never the less place the blame on himself, when many other celebrities have taken similar nasty tumbles and for most part swept them under the rug. It just goes to remind Blake Shelton a lesson he has already learned over the years, “there really is just no pleasing everyone.”
