Brad Pitt and his girlfriend of two years, Ines de Ramon, have been through a lot together. She has helped him through a tough divorce from his ex-wife, ex-Angelina Jolie, and even tried to help him put his broken relationships with his children back together. He appreciates her standing by him, but he is drawing the line when it comes to her sticking her nose into his business ventures.
Fans know when it comes to ugly Hollywood divorces, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are at the top of the list. Things between them were so complicated that it took eight long years before the two estranged former spouses officially settled everything.
That said, it makes sense for Brad to proceed with caution in all aspects of his life with Ines. According to Radar Online insiders, even though Ines and Brad are genuinely happy together. So much so, that they have moved in together. The couple are even talking more seriously about their future together.
However, after two previous failed marriages, Brad Pitt is reportedly being ‘super cautious’, especially regarding his businesses.
Brad Pitt Lessons Learned
During his previous relationships, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston joined forces with their mega production company, and with Angelina Jolie, it was the highly fought over Miraval winery.
Sources close to Pitt reveal, “Brad’s history is crystal clear. When he’s in love with a woman, he gets into business with her almost instinctually. It’s just what Brad does. And when these relationships break up, it causes him a lot of pain, time, and energy to untangle the finances.”
Brad Pitt respects Ines de Ramon’s opinion and business sense. He wants her advice and opinions on all things. “She’s an extremely talented designer with very good marketing sense,” our insider added. “So he often asks her to weigh in with an opinion, but it’s strictly informal.”
It seems Brad fears letting Ines get too closely involved with the business side of his life. After all, he’s been burned before, and it was a hard lesson learned. Ines appears fairly understanding so far. She knows what Angelina put Brad through.
“After such an intense fight with Angelina Jolie, I can’t blame Brad for being a bit gun shy. He’s not going through that again,” one fan writes.
So far their relationship is working well, as is. “They’re an extremely calm couple and not overly intense or high-strung,” adds the Pitt insider. He is not willing to do anything to blow it. So, for now, plans to keep his relationship and his business as two separate ventures. At least for the time being.
