Bridgerton Season 3 is one of the most highly anticipated TV shows of 2023. The Netflix series follows the love lives of the Bridgerton family, which are often messy and dramatic. After the first two seasons, fans can’t help but wonder what’s in store for the next batch of episodes. The show is set to focus on Collin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington. With Penelope being recently revealed to Eloise as Lady Whistledown, things could get wild.
It’s speculated that Bridgerton may make a huge change that fans may have a tough time getting used to. It seems that the period drama may get a new format. Much like Stranger Things Season 4, or even You Season 4, Bridgerton viewers may see the season split into two parts.
What’s in store for Bridgerton Season 3?
Bridgerton isn’t known for creating shocking cliffhangers. Instead, each season tends to be wrapped up nicely in a bow. The characters get through their challenges and then end up happily together. Although there are ups and downs, a happy ending seems to be the norm for the season finale.
If Netflix does decide to split up Bridgerton Season 3 into two parts there could be some sort of dramatic event that will end part one. Of course, this will leave fans craving part 2. This could make the season a bit more interesting and break up the storylines of huge parties, epic dance numbers, and steamy romantic scenes.
The show may return in spring 2023
Currently, not much is known about Bridgerton Season 3. In the summer of 2022, actress Nicola Coughlin shared an update via her Instagram account. “Get ready for the (carriage) ride of your lives, filming for #Bridgerton Season Three has officially begun, [sic]’ Coughlan captioned a clip of her on set. Meanwhile, it’s thought that the third season of Bridgerton may be released something in the spring of 2023.
According to The Daily Mail, rumors have circulated that production may have been stalled due to problems with the storyline. “We have been told that it needs the fun back so there are changes, which of course means delays,” a source told the outlet. “One thing is for sure though, the production team want to get it right for Bridgerton fans so they enjoy it as much as they have in the past. There are some elements that Shonda is just not happy with so wants to change them,” the insider added.
Bridgerton Season 3 fans will simply have to wait for news about upcoming episodes. Hopefully, there will be new content to binge soon.
