Actress Brittany Murphy’s death shocking death in 2009 remains one of the biggest celebrity mystery deaths to date. According to Sun reports, Murphy’s tragic death will be a major focus in the upcoming two-part HBO Max documentary.

In 2009 Brittany died at her Los Angeles home at the young age of 32. Since her passing, the circumstances surrounding her death remain a mystery. Numerous conspiracy theories continue to surface over the cause of her death.

Brittany Murphy Death Conspiracies

HBO Max is announcing a new documentary that will be delving deep into the detail of the star’s death. The new documentary will also move “beyond the conspiracy theories.” The network claims they will be revealing new footage that will explore Murphy’s life and death.

In 2009 coroner reports claim that Brittany’s cause of death originated from multiple drug intoxication and pneumonia. Reports reveal that the actress was allegedly found dead in her bed.

Per the New York Post, officials arriving at the scene reveal finding various medical supplies and an oxygen machine in the star’s bedroom.

Following Brittany’s death, family and friends are still questioning the circumstances of the young woman’s sudden demise.

Foul Play Questioned

Oddly enough, just five months after Murphy’s tragic death, her husband, Simon Monjack, 40, died of pneumonia also. Rumors and conspiracy theories quickly began building calling details oddly suspicious.

Conspiracy rumors began building. Many began to question how two relatively young adults could perish from the exact same cause just months within each other.

Authorities quickly dismissed claims of toxic mold or an alleged poisoning. Despite the official medical reports on the deaths, many believe foul play is still a factor.

HBO Max executive VP stated to Variety: “Our Brittany Murphy documentary cuts through the tabloid noise with an elevated, nuanced depiction of a sensational story.

“Crafting a grounded account of Brittany Murphy’s life struggles and sudden passing comes with great responsibility. We’ve partnered with a masterful creative team to produce a thoughtful examination of a tragedy that has long been the cause for speculation.”

Director Cynthia Hill reveals her reasons for taking on the project. “I think it’s a shame that the circumstances of her death have eclipsed Brittany’s promising life and career.

Brittany Murphy is best known for her roles in “Clueless,” “8 Mile,” “Just Married, and “Don’t Say A Word.”

HBO Max will announce a release date for the series at a later time.
